Dubois, Wyoming, one of our favorite places on earth. Stunning landscape, incredible ranches, and a large part of the population still living the “cowboy” lifestyle. We’ve been hosting our FirstLight Photographic Workshops in Dubois for years, often at the Absaroka Ranch, an incredible property a few miles west of town. Late afternoon during a recent workshop, we were photographing the wranglers on a “bench” above the rest of the ranch. Just about to wrap up the shoot, I turned to see this wrangler heading home with the rising moon as her background.
